My dearest readers! I have been so neglectful these past couple of weeks. I have been dying from both regular work and school work, and seemed to be coming down with a cold. If I haven’t been working or studying, I’ve pretty much been sleeping! (By the way, I think I fought off whatever was trying to get me sick).
I think things may have slowed down a bit though, so hopefully I’ll be able to provide you with some (marginally) exciting blog posts this week. I have a few things up my sleeve, anyway!
In terms of exercise this week, things weren’t great. I was a little disappointed that I didn’t do much, but my schedule got so wacky that I just gave up on trying to go to the gym. I am currently doing an online bootcamp run by my friend Chrissy over at Snacking in Sneakers and her daily workout emails were a savior! Stuff I could do in the comfort of my own home – when I wasn’t getting home at 8 pm and passing out from sheer exhaustion. This week is hopefully shaping up to be better!
Eating was so-so this week as well. I spent a lot of time in my car this week, which is usually a trigger for me…but things ended up ok. I only went out for lunch twice (one was planned, one was not) and next week I am making an attempt to pack lunch every day!
We were missed by the snowstorm (yay) so that was awesome. Sorry if you’re reading this and are buried under 3 feet of snow…sorry. It’s still a little chilly here, so I decided to make a pot of chili (SEE WHAT I DID THERE?!) for dinner tonight. If it turns out good, I’ll post the recipe – this is a new one. It’s only been cooking for about an hour and a half and it smells heavenly!
Thankfully, I’ll be in Florida in a couple of weeks! No idea what the weather is going to be like, but I’m planning on getting a pedicure in preparation for flip-flops anyway. My theory is – if it’s not 25 degrees, we’re good. Do I need a coat? Nope, we’re good.
